To call this day a holiday – is too small.
It is more important than any of the holiday, and the significance of any event in the world history.
On this day, all of humanity, so – each of us has received the hope of salvation, because Christ is risen.
This day is called the Passover, which means “move”, and is celebrated in the Orthodox Church as the most important day of the year.
This holiday symbolizes the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, keeps the historical memory of a voluntary redemptive sacrifice in the name of humanity Jesus Christ and His Resurrection.
